The New Canaan Dance Academy was founded in 2001 by Elaine Young. NCDA is committed to providing professional dance instruction in a safe and nurturing environment. We encourage our students of all ages and skill levels to build an appreciation for the art of dance and reach their fullest potential!
We offer classes for dancers ages 2 through Adult in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pointe, Hip Hop, and Creative Movement! NCDA is proud to provide instructors with formal University and Conservatory training as well as current industry professionals!
