NCDA's Performance Company began in 2005.  Nineteen years later, our competitive Company Team is comprised of seven groups with a grand total of approximately 85 dancers, ages 6-18:

• Mini Company 

• Junior Company

• Teen Company

• Senior Company

• Invitational Company

In recent years, our Company team has competed approximately 25 group dances & 85 solo/duet/trios, at three regional group competitions each Spring. We also attend several regional competitions with just our solo/duet/trio dances & Invitational Company dances, & offer opportunities for dancers to attend additional workshops, both locally & out-of-state. Additionally, we compete at Nationals in early Summer & participate in community events.

Auditions for Company are held each Summer, choreography is taught in early Fall, & our competition season runs from November to May, culminating in our recital in downtown Stamford, & followed by participation in Nationals in early Summer. All Dancers must audition each year for placement in Company.

We are proud to compete dances in the following disciplines:  Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, & Musical Theater. Our weekly schedule also requires students to train in Ballet & electives such as Improv, & Pointe.  ​​
